Leslie’s Notes

I Love Home Again!

This movie reminds me of some of my favorite romantic comedies –
  • The Proposal (2009)
  • Just Friends (2005)
  • Sweet Home Alabama (2002)
  • While You Were Sleeping (1995)
  • Adventures in Babysitting (1987)
This movie is funny, features many good looking people and beautiful homes in the Los Angeles area. What’s not to love?!

I might be partial because I spent last summer and part of this year living in the Los Angeles area. So I think I connect to this film because I love the scenery. And I love movies. And I love southern girl Reese Witherspoon. And I love movies about aspiring filmmakers and screenwriters. And this movies contains all these things. And it also contains Murphy Brown and three cute guys.

With all the scary and violent movies out now, featuring scary clowns and dangerous hit men and bloody assassins and terrifying scenes, it’s good to watch a funny and sweet film. It made me smile! I should rephrase that sentence. Home Again made me smile, not the scary clown movie.
