This past summer, I began seeing bright yellow signs popping up around my neighborhood in west Little Rock that read “Shop My Closet”. Curious as to whether this was a new boutique or consignment shop, I ventured out on Cantrell Road to follow the yellow signs! I found the store just a few miles from my house, located in the small shopping center behind the Walgreens and next to Buffalo Wild Wings.
I walked through the front door and was pleasantly surprised. Soothing music was playing softly in the back ground while subdued lighting filled the space. The store has the feel of an expensive boutique, but offers women’s clothing, accessories and shoes at discount prices.
Shop My Closet Little Rock is a charitable resale boutique that sells
donated women’s clothes and accessories. Proceeds help minister to
orphans and widows in Kenya, as well as others in need in our local
community.
