On Monday, March 14, 2016, I attended a luncheon at the new Strong Hearts Rehabilitation Clinic at Arkansas Heart Hospital. The luncheon was sponsored by B98.5 radio station and featured Lisa Gibson Fischer, Morning Show Host. Several lucky listeners won the chance to see the state-of-the-he(art) facility that offers cardiac rehab through a personalized program focusing on exercise, eating behaviors, food preparation, understanding your medications and stress management.
As a 15-year cancer survivor and cardiac patient, I jumped at the chance to learn more about this rehabilitation center along with enjoying a delicious lunch prepared by Certified Executive Chef Coby Smith, Director, Food and Nutrition Services at Arkansas Heart Hospital and assisted by Brooke Henley.
The menu consisted vegetable appetizers and an entree of filet of beef tenderloin, roasted potatoes and sauteed asparagus.

The lunch was a success and I also was able to tour the exercise rooms and meet some of the dedicated staff. Arkansas Heart Hospital is located at 1701 South Shackleford Road in Little Rock. You can find out more about the Strong Hearts Rehabilitation Center by visiting their website.
